Drama Club with Mr. Barlow
We welcome Drama Club to Queen Anne Elementary for the 2012-2013 school year!
Professional actor and art manager, Allan Barlow and Debra Fox, who have run after-school drama programs at other Seattle public elementary schools, are happy to start an after-school Drama Club for our school starting in the Fall of 2012. The curricula may include Shakespeare, various children’s classics, puppetry, masks/commedia and scripts the kids develop themselves. There will be three 7-week sessions in a year. Each 7-week session consists of six 1.5 hour long classes, and the 7th class consists of a 1-hour rehearsal followed by a presentation/performance for family and friends to watch. We will demonstrate all our warm-ups and exercises as well as the featured piece.
